- Fall — Applicants receive information about Operation TEACH information university service fair recruiting, brochures, the Operation TEACH web page, or the Operation TEACH office.
- Feb 1 — Application submission Priority deadline (including online application, essays, official transcripts, and recommendation forms and letters).
- February — Initial interviews with Operation TEACH administrators via Zoom or at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
- March-June — Candidate interviews with interested Baltimore area principals. Positions offered to candidates and letters of intent to participate in Operation TEACH are signed.
- April 1 — Application submission deadline (including online application, essays, official transcripts, and recommendation forms and letters)
- July — New Operation TEACH participants report for orientation and move into their community house in Baltimore.
- August — Operation TEACH participants prepare for and begin the school year.
