The Federal Work Study program provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses.

Work Study positions are available in departments and offices throughout the University as well as off-campus community service jobs, such as tutoring elementary students.

Community service and work related to the recipient's course of study is encouraged.

Eligibility

Federal Work Study is available to undergraduate and graduate students with financial need.

Amount You Can Earn

The amount of work study you are eligible to earn is determined by your need and the availability of funds at the University. The award amount can be viewed in your financial aid award letter on WebAdvisor.

The average academic-year Work Study award is $2,000.

How to Apply

Work Study is awarded on a priority, first-come-first-served basis based on the FAFSA receipt date and financial need.
