**Many undergraduate students still have their cap and gown from Cap & Gown Investiture (the formal ceremony from your first year at NDMU). All graduates are required to also have a hood. All graduating students will need to order their hood at a minimum.**

Event Attire

  • Commencement Ceremony: Cap, gown and hood (All graduating students will be hooded as part of the ceremony.)

Note: Stoles are not permissible per University policy except for Morrissy Honors. Honor cords are permitted.

Regalia Cap, Gown & Hood 

To participate in the Commencement ceremony, the proper regalia is required, which consists of an NDMU cap, gown, tassel, and hood. Please allow three weeks for shipping and receipt of regalia. We will send you the tracking details as soon as the order is shipped to the email you provided on your order.

  • No, payments must be made online at the time of purchase.

  • No, all rental regalia must be returned using the return shipping label provided.
